I blew my dash lights in my 97 nissan. How do i fix it?

Ok well I'm a 16 year old intellectial, and I've always had a fascination with being a soldier, especially in the army, and being an officer. Noone in my family has been in the army, it always fascinated me. Do I have arachnophobia?

All my life I've been scared of spiders, since my mother made up the "biting spider" that lives in the basement and dies on Christmas day to keep me from seeing the gifts in the basement. But I'm not sure if I qualify for having the phobia. I heard that just seeing a picture of a spider would make an arachnophobe have like a seizure. This morning I saw a spider in the basement with leg span of about a 50 cent coin and screamed at the top of my lungs, ran upstairs, and called my mom to hurry home to kill the tarantula in the basement. I know that is quite irrational, but I did not have a seizure or anything. And I actually study spiders all night some days on the computer, interested in the different kinds and the most venomous. But whenever I see one, I freak out and if it's at night when I'm alone downstairs, there are issues. The most recent time I saw one scurry across the floor, I sprinted upstairs to my bedroom and shut the door and went to sleep in fear, without even leaving my room to brush my teeth. Before that, I spent an hour trying to kill a tiny spider, which I eventually did, using 2 five pound weights, a guitar hero controller, and a flip flop. Although this happens to me with most bugs, spiders are the only ones that make me scream (with the exception of large silverfish and house centipedes). Do I actually have arachnophobia? Or is it just a small fear that generates huge screams? Just note that when I am fleeing a room, I don't grab anything but myself, not even my phone.

How to get over fear of ghosts?

I don't think you can I am an adult and i love everything to do with the paranormal. I live in a haunted home and love it, i go on lots of paranormal ghost hunts but i still can't get over the fear. It's that unpredictability of a spirit, you just never know what they may do to you. You could try what i do which kind of helps me and that is to imagine a protective bubble around yourself that nothing can penetrate it and carry salt with you.

Funniest shyt ever!!!?

Ok beat this story. I visited my aunt in Jacksonville florida when I was 11 years old. My aunt was technically my great aunt also she was a little on the older side (age 65). Anyways, my aunt had this fascination with her hair always being in the beehive style. You know like from the 60's? I always joked with her about her hair looking like a birds nest, which is the turning point in my story.. She lived in one of those elderly one story community housing unit apartments and had a community mailbox. After breakfest she went to the bathroom to freshen up and put her "birdnest hairdo'' into style, then proceded to go and check the mail since she previously forgot the day before. I at this point was finishing my cereal and got up to wash the dishes when all of a sudden I heard shouting and screaming comming from outside. To my surprise I ran to the front door, peared outside and saw 2 bluejays swooping down attacking my aunts head! Trying not to laugh (for my aunt is elderly and had fallen during the attack) I ran outside and tried to shoo the birds away. All of a sudden one of them divebomed her head and had gotton so mangled into my aunts hair it started panicking and pecking her brains out (literally) I had to run back inside grab my uncles gardening gloves and scissors and literally cut around her hair to let the bird free. Good thing I grabbed the gloves too for the bird was biting me so hard it hurt even through the gloves. The next day when I came home from my friends house my aunts hair was cut above her shoulders and putback into a sleek ponytail. I guess she finally believed me when I told her that style was way to wild!

I'm worried about my son - How can i help? (Fairly Long)?

It could be numerous things. One that really struck me was Multiple Personality Disorder. One side of him is extremely, unusually nice and intelligent and one is more laid back, personal, and uses his brilliance against people. I'm no psychologist, but I would not suggest letting your son live alone, as he may not be able to fully prepare meals and take care of his house/apartment on his own. I wouldn't suggest letting him out of your household until he knows how to properly manage money, has some sort of social interaction with people his age, and has an interest in doing other things outside of his room. It, also, could possibly be Asperger's Syndrome. Asperger's Syndrome is a form of Autism where people are highly intelligent in a couple of areas, yet deeply unable to socially interact and/or relate to other people. I would recommend taking him to a psychologist just to get him evaluated and learn to give him those barriers and help him be successful as an adult, and help him learn how to continue in college without giving up. Help him understand there are many other things to do than stay in his room, and that socializing can be a very rewarding thing for him (possibly take him to his favorite place, give him his favorite meal, praise him). Sometimes if I'm trying to imagine something...or something I'll feel the urge to jump on my bed, and if I can't jump on the bed at the moment for some reason I flap my hands or rock back and forth when sitting. And then my thoughts, like for example I imagine a laughing friend and all of the sudden I can't control my thoughts and I visualize something violent happening to him or her repeatedly. Will my tattoo turn out ok?

I got my first tattoo yesterday, and when he transferred the outline from the paper to my arm, he didn't like the positioning and asked me to scrub it off. Well, when the ink wouldn't come off, I grabbed a clean scotch brite pad, like a moron, and scrubbed it off along with some skin. I was in a hurry and didn't think things through, so my arm was very raw when he did the tat. This morning when I woke up, it looks like I've got road rash on my arm. The tattoo looks fine, other than becoming dry and looks scaly from being dry. I've been putting a good amount of Lubriderm (unscented) on it, and it stings like hell, but that's from the road rash.. I was just curious if the road rash will affect the way the tattoo is going to turn out. Im 17 and paid my dad's friend to do it. Very professional, no prison looking stuff. I asked my dad and he said it wouldn't but hes only got a few little tats. Now ive got more ink on one arm than he does on his entire body. How can I unbond zap-a-gap that I stupidly used to glue in a loose hubcap screw?

My chrome hubcap connects to the wheel by a long screw that was falling out of the wheel a day after I got the tires changed. I was in a huge hurry and I don't know why I did this but instead of taking the screw out, I put a tiny bit of zap a gap in the edge of the screw head and screwed it in. It's kind of funny, I have played in bands for many years and played the same songs literally thousands of times and I could not tell you the lyrics to any of the hundreds and hundreds of songs I've played. I'm all about the back beat and the melody. I honestly don't care about the message and don't even listen to the lyrics at all. I do listen to the vocals in a melodic way. Installing xp pro on netbook issues...help?

I have made an xp pro installation cd using imgburn and tested it using virtualbox. it worked perfectly on virtualbox(the computer with virtualbox is windows vista 32 bit). but the netbook (which has xp on it but need to be redone) has no cd drive so i borrowed a friends external drive. the pc has the option to boot from disk and does start up windows setup. after it say windows is starting up on the bottom of the screen after the initial 5 minutes of using the disk i get the blue screen saying it has to shut down in fear of having a virus or some other bad stuff that was going on and tells me to restart. one piece of info that might cause this is I forgot to pick up the 5v power supply to the ext. cd drive from my friends. so its only connected through usb port. so my question is, is it possibly not working because it needs to have its power supply even though it seems to read the disc fine for about the first five minutes? (even the light on the ext. drive was flashing as it should) is there something else that could be causing this issue? thanks for the help and im sorry for the rough draft but im kind of in a hurry.

What do you think of this art project idea?

For my AP Art History class, I have to do literally anything for an end-of-the-year project. Anything from a research paper to making the Leaning Tower of Pisa out of cake. I'm obsessed with Andy Warhol, particularly the concept behind his Silver Factory, covering the entire place with silver paint and foil. So I was thinking of covering the girl's bathroom at school in foil. I always found it fascinating that at any given time there are more girls looking in the mirrors than actually using the restroom. And when all the mirrors are taken, they'll use the reflective black tiles on the walls as mirrors. So why not just make the whole thing a mirror if we like looking at ourselves so much? Goes along with Warhol's fascination with appearances. Do you think this is a good idea or just silly, and do you think the school would even give me permission to do it?

I've been having dreams that i can remember latley!?

Regarding song titles - is this a problem?

I know many songs have the exact same title, even when they are a different song completely. I'm a songwriter, and I have a song called 'Mercy Mercy Me'. But I noticed recently that Marvin Gaye also has a song with that exact same title. Bear in mind that my song is my own original, and is completely different to Marvin Gaye's song - only thing that's the same is the title. Should I worry about this? I'm only worrying about this because 'Mercy Mercy Me' is not exactly a generic title, it's one of those titles that wouldn't be very common for a song, so I don't want people thinking that I've 'stolen' the title...

Okay so im a shy girl around guys I like and I almost tend to avoid them sometimes. 2 fighter jets flew east near Buffalo, NY yesterday 6/26/11 at about 5:45pm. Where are they from or going?

I'm in Cheektowaga, NY, an eastern suburb of Buffalo, NY. By the time I saw them after thinking they didn't sound like typical jets flying overhead after taking off from Buffalo Niagara International, they were already 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile east of my position. They were about 2,000 feet up. From what I could tell, they looked like A10 Warthogs. They both seemed to have the large tail section and turbines mounted at the rear section of the fuselage near the tail. They weren't moving as if they were in a hurry (scrambling), but certainly were moving at a decent clip. I can't say for sure that these were indeed A10s, but at the time I saw them, that's what I thought they were. Any idea what air bases in the Northeast US have A10s or somewhat similar aircraft? I'm not finding much accurate information at the moment. We get the occasional C130 (Niagara Air Reserve Station) passing over, but very rarely do we get a fighter, let alone 2, zipping through our airspace.

Why it takes me 10 minutes to connect to my home internet?

Hi, I am using a Motorola SBG6580 surfboard extreme wireless cable modem gateway. There this one issue that bothers me everyday. I have a laptop that I use in school and home. but what gives a headache is that every time I was trying to connect my laptop to my home internet (Charter internet), it always took almost 10-20 minutes to fully connected. what I mean FULLY is that the notification area shows the connection to the home internet, but when I open a browser(chrome), my home page doesnt open, after maybe like 5 minutes, my homepage finnally opened. but when i was trying to open other sites, its a NO, NO... I have to wait like 20 minutes, so that I can really open every site. This situation never happened to me in school or anyother places until i used this router and Charter Internet service. I am not sure if its the router's problem or the Charter's. I was so mad sometime that I need to use Internet to take care of something in a hurry... So, I was wondering if someone has a similar problem and knows how to solve this issue. I followed the simply router installation that came with the package. (means I may set up my router incorrectly). but please, if anyone knows, it will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Installing xp pro on netbook issues...help?

I have made an xp pro installation cd using imgburn and tested it using virtualbox. it worked perfectly on virtualbox(the computer with virtualbox is windows vista 32 bit). but the netbook (which has xp on it but need to be redone) has no cd drive so i borrowed a friends external drive. the pc has the option to boot from disk and does start up windows setup. after it say windows is starting up on the bottom of the screen after the initial 5 minutes of using the disk i get the blue screen saying it has to shut down in fear of having a virus or some other bad stuff that was going on and tells me to restart. one piece of info that might cause this is I forgot to pick up the 5v power supply to the ext. cd drive from my friends. so its only connected through usb port. so my question is, is it possibly not working because it needs to have its power supply even though it seems to read the disc fine for about the first five minutes? (even the light on the ext. drive was flashing as it should) is there something else that could be causing this issue? thanks for the help and im sorry for the rough draft but im kind of in a hurry.

How excited were you for your first horse?

Hello! My life long dream has come true- and turned out way better then i ever hoped for. I love horses and live on a dairy farm so there is plenty of room, but my parents are so stubborn! All my life they tell me they are just hay burners, bring in no income like cows and are costly. Well i found out [since we make our own hay] its not THAT expensive. Recently i started getting back into horse lessons and was offered a GREAT deal! An elderly woman had just got brain surgery and was looking for someone to take care of her horse. Her husband has had back surgery and cant ride anymore and hurts to clean the stall. So everything is set up that if i clean the stall 3 times a week, i can ride and groom their beautiful 15 yr old brown and white paint mare whenever i like after i take a few more lessons. It's like owning [more like just caring for] a horse without having to pay for ANYTHING! They pay the vet bills, shots, feed and board, farrier..everything! I've read so many horse care books, learning all i could [and still learning more] just out of fascination and really wanting to know how to care for a horse incase it was possible to ever get one. She's such a beautiful girl and i fell in love with her already. I'll stop ranting now but i'm REALLY excited! I want to take the best care of her as humanly possible =]. I Am So Disgusted With Certain Family Members Right Now?

My mother has always been controlling and co-dependent on her children. Don't get me wrong, she was also very loving and nurturing but...controlling. She has always been both emotionally and financially co-dependent on her children, now aged 34 & 36. I finally had enough and moved out at the age of 29yrs and have lived independently since. My sibling lives with her but strongly desires to move out into his own place. He won't do this out of fear of what will happen to my mother. He refuses to admit this to her but has told me this is the reason he hesitates to leave. My mother has been on unemployment for maybe 1 1/2 - 2 yrs. She is trying to collect SSI and disability. As you probably know...this is a time consuming process but she wasn't exactly in a hurry. She now only has about 1.5 month left to collect unemployment. Recently, my sibling voiced his desire to have his own place. My mother agreed and when he asked what she planned to do....she told him she would move in with a complete stranger and rent a room. CRAZINESS! I told her I refuse to condone this and told her she will put her belongings in storage and move-in with me. I explained to her my brother MUST eventually move out into his own place and learn to live independently. She too will eventually move out into a one bedroom and learn to live independently. I have become extrememly angry over this issue. Not to mention, just yesterday I learned my brother may have an older child he never knew about until recently. Mind you....he collects social security and disability. Financially he cannot afford a child. He is in no position in life to father a child....period. I am angry because my mother is co-dependent on us. I am angry because her co-dependency as forced her children to sacrifice having their own lives to contribute to her life. I am angry because I have worked hard all of my adult life and worked hard through college not to rely on the system to support me. I understand everybody needs help from time-to-time but this is just ridiculous! Do I have a right to feel so angry and disgusted? I feel angry and guilty for being angry at the same time. Am I the only one with a fearless and careless 18 month old DAUGHTER?

Every time I take my daughter to the park/playground, I swear she is the only toddler there that is social with anyone she meets. There are always little girls her age there and she is always going up to them and trying to play and talk to them and they're all so shy and walk away. And I always see other toddlers that are always so careful when they go down the slide or play on something else but my daughter never ever thinks twice about doing anything, she's always in a hurry and is never cautious about anything! Is this normal? I mean I would expect this from 2-4 year old BOYS but not from my 1 year old daughter!

I am trying to make some values on what I believe sex should be about. I have always had a fascination with sex and would like to live in a high-sex lifestyle. On the other hand, I value intimacy and I think that, if not controlled, sex can lead to some DISASTOROUS results; ie. unwanted pregnancies, STDs or just a worthless dirty feeling at the end of the day. Now, this friend suggested a compromise, only have sex with people that you love (basically ONLY people that you consider to be your family, people that you would feel totally comfortable sharing ANYTHING else with) By doing this you are creating an intimate, loving environment with people that you GEUNINELY care about; you are not forcing yourself into a no-strings-attached relationship (which I am beginning to think does not really work), you can do a thorough background check on EVERYBODY that goes into the relationship with you (hence no STDs), the relationship will not bring on unwanted pregnancies (it is easy enough to match the kid with their parents and provide them with BOTH the mother and father they deserve) BUT, on the flipside, you are also able to let your imagination go wild and are able to do ALL of the CRAZY things people dream about in open-relationships. I guess what it boils down to is a wild, sexy, crazy lifestyle; but in a safe and secure environment. What do you gus think about this? Any thoughts?

Why the big fascination on TV with Jersey?

There's the typical shows with typical characters like *Jersey Shore* and then there's *Jerseylicious* and then there's *The Real Housewives Of New Jersey*. Which all are pretty much the same. Why this fascination with New Jersey characters who all sound and pretty much act the same?* Big hair, big mouths, and drunken fights. It's a decent beat. Could be really good. I would recommend putting another lead part in there though. The lead that's in there only has two tones and kind of cuts the beat off. How can I restore my dry, damaged hair?!?

Ok, so this time last year I had long, lovely, brown highlighted hair. I would say it was almost blonde but all due to highlights so my hair was in a very good condition. It was probably down to my breasts. I was getting it coloured and cut at the hairdressers every 8 weeks. I developed a fascination with having white hair but I knew my stylist wouldn't make my hair this light as it would ruin it. So..big mistake.. I decided to home colour it. I bleached my hair several times over the period of about 3 months. I would say about 10 times!!! I did get my hair to the desired colour (white!) but eventually my hair just started to snap off. When I used straighteners on my hair it just broke off completeley. It became so bad that all my hair was different lengths! I was too embarassed to go back to my salon so I got one of my friends to cut my hair all to the same length. I would say it is shoulder length, maybe shorter. I also dyed it back to my natural dark brown colour to avoid any more bleaching. This was 6 months ago.. I thought that my hair would eventually get more healthy and start to grow again if i stopped messing with it. But I am 5 months pregnant and this seems to have prevented my hair from changing at all. It is still shoulder length, although the bottom layer is much shorter, probably only 2 inches long, and more hair snaps off all the time. And the condition is still awful!! It is so dull and dry, its just embarassing!! I really do not know what to do to get my hair to be healthy again?!?! I havent coloured it for the last 6 months. Are there any products I can use to revive it? I don't mind the expense, i just want healthy, shiny hair again =( Please help..
