Do you think it's wrong to imply that feminine gay men are equivalent to "trannys"?

Tranny. First off, I resent that word. I think it's really mean. I don't know everything about transgendered people but I can imagine that they strongly feel in their mind, heart and souls that they were born in the wrong body. So they have my sympathy and I'll never judge them. I happen to be a very feminine gay guy but I'm okay with being a male. I noticed on a couple of answers I received on my previous question concerning my boyfriend's fascination with seeing me in girls attire. People were saying he has a "tranny fetish". Why TRANNY? Since when were feminine gays and transsexual women the same thing? What do you think?
