Crossbreeding mollies with guppies?

Kk. So I've crossbred Endlers with guppies and wild guppies with endler guppy hybrids. (not too hard). But with my fascination with fish I wanted to hybridize mollies with guppies. I know this is very rare and hard to do, but has anyone here actually done this and happy to give advice. I'm not sure wether to use a female guppy or male guppy. And just to make sure, platy Molly hybrids or platy guppy hybrids are not possible, right?
