Anthropological approach to the paranormal?

I am an anthropology student in Texas, and as I approach the end of my undergrad and beginning of grad school I am beginning to consider the direction I'd like to take my career in. I have always had an intense fascination with the paranormal and occult (in theory, not practice), and would like to focus my anthropological career in this area of study. The problem, however, is that I'm not sure how to go about it. While not concerned with getting rich, I do need to make some sort of income to provide for myself. I would like to fully immerse myself in the culture in order to get a thorough understanding of each and every aspect, but what type of career paths are open for me? Any suggestions? Something outside of the field of academia would be ideal, but of course I won't rule that option out.
